Carolin Von Petzholdt was born in Bern, Switzerland and traveled to many countries with her family including, Australia, UK, Canada, as well as parts of Europe and Asia. Shortly after the Berlin Wall came down, her family finally settled in East Germany.
At the age of 10, Carolin appeared on stage for the first time and knew that she wanted to become an actress. She studied in Berlin where she got her MBA in Acting & Arts in 2000 at acting academy berlin and then later on achieve a degree in theology in 2005.
Throughout the course of her studies, Carolin performed continuously in theatrical productions. The pinnacle of her time at the acting academy was a 90-minute monologue by Botho Strauss, “Gross und Klein”, for which she received great praise and critical acclaim. Since then she has appeared in numerous theaters throughout Germany, performing dramatically.
Carolin is now living and working in Los Angeles as an award winning independent filmmaker, director, scriptwriter, producer and editor. She was President of Parsons Pasadena Toastmasters; a non profit organization for public speaking and leadership and she brought her club to President Distinguish level.
She has recently finished writing her 3rd feature film script, “TESTING LIFE in AMERICA,” and completed her upcoming All female Wrestling Thriller / Horror ” THE BOOM BOOM GIRLS OF WRESTLING.” (which is inspired by true events).
The Boom Boom Girls of Wrestling has been nominate for Best Actress and Best Soundtrack at the Marverick Movie Awards 2014.
Additionally it got accepted into Cinefest Los Angeles Film Festival 2015 and Woman’s Up International Film Festival 2015.
The Boom Boom Girls of Wresling will have it’s World Premiere and Red Carpet Debut on Nov 5th, 2015 at Regal Theaters LA LIVE at the Woman’s Up Independent Film Festival.
Body Of Work
In 2004 she founded the award-winning “Theater Action Temple.” – A multi-cultural theatre project. She wrote and directed “TWO SONS.” A modern version of “The Prodigal Son”.
In 2005 she won Best Musical for “GOOD DAYS, BAD DAYS” at the Koepinicker
In 2006 she created, produced & directed her first feature documentary “From Trash to Treasure.” A story about a man who is a pack rat and loves trash more then anything else.
In 2007 Carolin moved from Germany to Los Angeles where she studied film making at THE HOLLYWOOD FILM INSTITUTE. She also founded “EXCITING FILMS PRODUCTIONS.” The production company responsible for her debut as a writer, producer, director and actor of “TESTING LIFE.”
“Testing Life “ is an independent award – winning movie where Carolin played the lead role of Ana Suess.

Ursel Walldorf is originally from Berlin, Germany, but is currently based in Los Angeles.
She earned her diploma for acting in Schauspielschule Maria Reginka-Kondakova in 1994. Working primarily as an Assistant director and Co-Director, Ursel met Caroline von Petzholdt in 2008 while shooting her first feature film, “TESTING LIFE,” which was screened in 2011 in 6 international film festivals and won a total of 8 awards.
Ursel developed her talent for life coaching in Germany. She is also well schooled in N.L.P. and other Coaching Systems. She is noted for her Short-Coachings , Idea Mapping, and Life coaching . At the moment, she is writing a script to be debuted in 2016.
As a California native, Max Margolin started making films at a young age. On a professional level, he worked his way up through camera and lighting departments and has been working primarily as a cinematographer for many years now. Most of his credits are for shorts and features but he also shoots music videos and commercials. Films that he has shot have won awards and entries into many prestigious film festivals. His love for collaborating with passionate people grows on every shoot.
Crystal Santos was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Her parents are Antonio Santos and Cynthia Davis, her father is from Mexico and her mother is Mexican American. The first style Crystal was introduced to was boxing, her father Antonio Santos was a boxer. At the age of 18-19 she briefly trained in Muy Thai, shortly after she was introduced to Grandmaster Eric Lee and studied Kung Fu, she fell in love with it and enjoyed learning the style and still actively trains with her Sifu Grand Master Eric Lee and in Wing Chun with her other Sifu Grand Master Samuel Kwok who have become like fathers to her. Crystal started in the stunt industry and has many great mentors. While working as a stuntwoman she studied with Master Simon Rhee and with Grand Master Gene Lebell and stunt car driving with Rick Seaman. She became a dual Bullwhip Master under the instruction of Noby Arden-Kreish of the Wallenda circus family, also, Crystal is a member of the Devil Dog Tactical Weaponry team and has been trained by Marine Robert Garcia. . She went on to action acting and enjoys a successful career as an Action Actress. Her career as an action actress has flourished because she is one of the few action actresses that can do all of her own stunts and does not need a stunt double, bringing an real element of storytelling to any film or show she is involved in. Her many credits include, Bare Knuckles, War of the Worlds, Lone Ranger, The Monk, Argo, Death Proof, CSI, Gang Related, The Martial Arts Kid, and her upcoming film The Boom Boom Girls of Wrestling, to name a few.
Actress, director, producer and writer, Carolin von Petzholdt is best-known for playing Ana Suess in Testing Life. As a child, Carolin lived in multiple countries, including Switzerland, Malaysia, Singapore, India, Turkey, Israel, China, as well as many places in Europe. When they finally settled down in Germany, Carolin was able to start her acting career with her first on-stage performance at the age of 10.
After receiving her college degree in Berlin, she moved to Los Angeles so she could further pursue her career as an actress, writer, and film maker.
With a fondness for music, sports, and martial arts, Carolin often uses these interests in her films.
Shakira Ja’nai Paye is an exceptional actress of the screen and stage. Recently she booked a supporting role in the upcoming Paramount feature film ‘The Gambler’ Starring Mark Wahlberg. Since receiving her bachelors from The American Musical Dramatic Academy College and Conservatory, she has worked on Disney, MTV, and Cinemax to name a few.
